The technology is presented as a market opportunity and offered to investors as a fixed deal of sponsorship opportunity. The process recruits a commercial champion who drives the commercial foundations of the business, supported by professional services in intellectual property, financial modelling and the core legals.

As the sponsor, the investor secures a fair equity share and has final say on the appointment of the commercial champion, nd uses s their mentor using your market knowledge, contacts etc to help ensure the very best foundation. At the end of the 6 months the investor is in prime position to lead further investment rounds with confidence that the opportunity is in the very best state to be successful and deliver required returns.

The nature of the investment decisions made by VCs are often tightly focussed on niche technologies. We help de-risk the oportunities on these decisions by providing an insight into supply chains that cannot normally be accessed.

We can also offer technology service aimed at professional investors where we search for investable opportunities your area of interest. Our particular strength is in sourcing raw technologies and building them into ‘big ticket’ commercial investment propositions. Depending on the technology and the current status of ownership we may seek to manage this ourselves under our Catalyst service or deliver through our Commercial Groundworks service as above.
